Tea-Themed Suites

Nazuna Kyoto Nijo-Jo occupies a traditional Kyomachiya townhouse with five suites themed around Japanese teas. Each suite includes a private open-air or semi-open-air bath, Simmons beds, and futons from a Kyoto bedding maker. Rooms feature antiques, local artwork, and tatami areas. The Gyokuro suite offers 90 sqm with a hinoki cypress bath, while Bettei is a private annex with an outdoor Shigaraki ceramic bath and original wooden beams.

Irori Hearth Dining

Breakfast is served in the Irori Lounge around a sunken hearth, using charcoal grilling for ingredients like A4 Wagyu and rice from Hachidaime Gihey, a local producer since the Edo period. Dinner includes sukiyaki with Kyoto pickles, duck loin, and sparkling wine. Meals highlight seasonal Japanese ingredients, with breakfast from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
